Our families are where we learn about ourselves and develop our ability to navigate challenges.
I believe parents are our most influential leaders. Many parents are busy, tired, unsure and doing the best with what we have.
I support dedicated parents to make simple changes that make a lasting positive impact on children's behaviour, confidence and wellbeing.
My intention is for us all to learn, grow and thrive and to create a world that works for everybody.
As a professionally trained and experienced coach, I provide a non-judgmental and supportive space that allows honest reflection and growth.
My understanding, skill, and approach assists wonderful results.
Life can bring challenges and we can be thrown off-course.
What would it be like at home with more calm, confidence and cooperation?
What would it look like to enjoy yourself, your family and your life?
What would it feel like to be the parent you would like to be?

My focus is creating space for children to live well and enjoy life.
I am a qualified counsellor and coach and have worked in wellbeing teams in primary and secondary schools.
After 20 years in the corporate world, I left to pursue my interest in community development, and have worked in education, health, disability and local government.
I believe that parents are our most influential leaders and that most of us struggle because we don't have the knowledge or support we need.
I didn’t.
I had my first child at the age of 37 and was therefore considered a ‘geriatric mother’.
Before that, I had been in the corporate world since graduating from university. I had been a project manager, business analysis, facilitator and trainer. I particularly enjoyed my roles in organisational change and leadership development. I’d travelled the world, experienced highs and lows and navigated a range of challenges. I saw myself as very able and capable.
Becoming a mum wasn’t a focus for me… until it was. I suddenly felt a strong desire to be a mother. It took me by surprise. I had assumed I would be a mother and that it would all happen naturally and easily.
It didn’t.
When my son was born he was healthy and well, but I struggled. I went back to work and felt I wasn't doing anything well. I felt like I was failing at being a mother, wife and employee.
I felt stressed, overwhelmed and inadequate.
I tried to learn as much as I could about parenting. Much if the information was contradictory. I was shocked to read advice that was contrary to my intuition and instincts. I was confused and uncertain. I kept learning and doing the best I could.
Five years later, my daughter was born. Again, healthy and well. This time I felt OK and able to be a ‘good enough’ mum.
I have continued to learn about myself, about human development, parenting and relationships.
I am passionate about community and wellbeing.
I see empowering parenting as the most effective path to healthy families and communities and a better future for us all.
This is why I love supporting parents to build their awareness, understanding and skills to support their children.
